As of 4/3/19, the Forester has now been in the family for 10 years. Built in November of 2008 and delivered new on 4/3/09, time has really flown by. Everyday life, road trips, hauling random stuff, camping, bike hauling, canoeing; the Forester has seen quite a bit in the last 10 years and 108,000 miles. Below are some of my favorite photos or otherwise significant photos involving the Forester from the last 10 years:

I had a 2010 XT...it was the only car I kept for five years. Still miss it, though the seats were not great and it was loud as heck.

Multiple TPMS sensors have dead batteries. Maybe I’ll get around to changing them next time I get tires. In the meantime, one of these works well.
Maneuverable and visibility in these is superb!

The seats certainly could be better, and the overall refinement is not the best, but it has charm; more so than the newer ones. I know that if the time comes I need to move on I will absolutely miss it.

Sweet, and very similar;
Bought and brought home 06/07/08;
It carries canoes;
Gets gold wheels in the winter;
Carries lots of family stuff;
and even gets goodies once in while;
Current mileage is 110K km, it has been very little effort to get there, and is my Wife’s favourite car. She plans to drive it forever..
